Artist's Description

A day at the beach was a memorable experience as families flooded to the ocean to find relief from the heat as air conditioning was non existent in the 1940s. Families would spend the entire day at the beach well into the late afternoon. As they prepared to leave they would always have to shake the sand out from their bathing suits and could count on suffering from the pain of an extreme sunburn.

You can visit those same beachs today, which were completely covered with bathers back in the 1940s. Except now you will find very few people on the beach, because they find their relief from home air conditioners. A pleasure which has been lost to convenience; those who have never experienced how refreshing it is to frolic in the ocean when the sun is beating down and is almost unbearable.

Philip And Robbie Bracco

About Robbie and Philip Bracco Phil and I love to do things in the outdoors in all kinds of weather. Almost every day one can find us somewhere in Central Florida, shooting birds and other natural scenes we come upon. We also love sub-zero temperatures in our countries National Parks. At home, we always have the TV on with National Graphic or PBS or any other ones we happen to see. We are both in our 80s and have done so many things in our active life that I won't even begin to tell you what they are but we do invite you to visit our website and discover some of the things which life has granted us. The rewards we get from our Robbie Bracco online exposure are not money but to see what other beautiful talented young people like our...
