Description
The wood which we use to warm the cabin is blanketed with the virgin snow before we disturbed it to build our fire as the sun faded in the western sky. At Jackson Hole, the temperature is so low and the air is so dry, the snowflakes are distinguished for the naked eye to see. They look like diamonds glistening on the contour of the split wood stacked up by our entry door.
