Come Sit With Me Under The Muscadine Vine on this old bench you built for me so many years ago. While I sit here, reminiscing of all the things we have shared nothing pleases me more than this old bench. The simple things in life made or given with love is priceless. Memories flood back in as I sit here and remember the times we have shared in this old house. I can remember our granddaughter Madison, smelling the flowers, digging in the dirt and playing with you, her Papa. Or the times our kids and grand and great-grandkids would come over and we would make pizza for them, sometimes in the now old and crumbling cement and Brick lined pizza oven which sits just a few feet from this old bench.
I think of the wonderfully sweet pineapples which you planted which multiplied to dozens of plants.
