This Osprey, fish hawk or river hawk - whichever one you call him, has claws of steel! Here at Venetian Gardens, Phil and I call them the River Hawk. We have only spotted him a couple of times so he must have arrived here in the last few days. I can see why he chose Venetian Gardens to perch for a while because we have an abundance of Fish in Lake Harris which feeds the waterways within the park. His physical attributes are perfect for feeding his appetite as he has a sharp beak as well as those claws as I referred to as Steel Claws.
