This male Osprey is considered a formidable predator. He is collecting building materials to build a nest for his partner and preparing for a family of chicks. We have observed him before he started building the nest and at this point has taken about a month. He works diligently and we have seen him forge into a tree with dead limbs to get the specific pieces he needs.
It is an education to watch as they go about what they need to do to survive.
